Title: Turkish Constitutional Referendum 2017
Post by: the real god emperor on April 07, 2017, 07:28:36 am
The day hath cometh. The voting will take place in April 16th, the things will change as a tldr are;

Linking most powers of the cabinet to president
Increasing seats in parliament
To decide on something parliament now needs votes of whole majority instead of one third or one fourth before (which means only AKP and MHP together can decide on stuff, as they form a majority) , this includes matters of bringing the president to court etc.
Election cycle increased to 5 years from 4.
President can reduce the sentences of people due to variety of reasons.
President can declare state of emergency by himself.
Military court is completely dismantled except times of war.

Etc etc. So send help when? #whereisusairforce

Same will happen here in a few months. Presidents can't president if they don't have all the power. Just like Papa Putin ordered. We're all going to become just like 'merica

Kratos, don't you feel shame that certain citizens of Serbia support your president more than you do? https://waa.ai/jrw8

Nothing compared to the fanaticism of probably most German-Turks. Tho it's easy for them to cheer, they're not living in Turkey after all.

any Idea of the vote outcome of exile turks?  there seem to be quite a lot of conservative pro presidential turks in germany for instance.

so maybe considering turks living in turkey,  you even have a majority

First thing they argued after the election was "death penalty".. No wonder what shit we are sinking into..

Besides democracy is a crap. While 51% say yes and the rest say no. There should be at least 70-80% election threshold for such an important thing like this regime change. I sincerely pity on us

Plz. I love diaspora Turks the way they are. Driving 5000 kilometers from Germany to Trabzon in Eid and Ramadan, getting out of old Mercedes cars with undershirts and flip flops, stacking different kinds of cheese from free-buffets wrapped in napkins, starting speaking German when they don't want you to understand what they are saying. Just lovely.

they start to speak Turkish when they don´t want me to understand what they´re saying, interesting how much we got common grounds here, Kratos. As I thought, it looks like the votes were rigged. Tardogan can't even win a referendum without any political opposition leaders/networks against him, and had to rig the votes. It's quite fascinating to remember that this country was a rising star in the middle east a few years back, and to compare it to the joke it has become now.

And I love the reason for blocking wikipedia. Because everyone knows that wikipedia is basically the central platform for terrorists.
