SUMMON chadz

visitors can't see pics , please register or login


This thread exists in the hopes that we can get enough people posting for our Donkey Overlord to return and push through the recent patches/changes put forward by Dupre. The game needs to be patched for a couple of reasons:

☩ Launcher is broken ☩
(Currently new players need to use an alternate download from forums)

☩ Items are ready to be added in ☩
(Nice viking armours acquired thanks to Dionysus created by Moeckerkalfie)

☩ Changes to Battle and DTV are ready ☩
(Ladders in battle and DTV AI alterations + New Weapon for Vivi)

Dupre has worked hard to give us good patches and content, his time spent working to improve the mod should be respected and the patches implemented.

No its not.

Arhon is the correct name, because the word Arhon-tas, means Lord/Master in Greek (Αρχοντας).

If you add a C before the r, you get Αρτσοντας, which does not make any sense.

Adding gear and fixing bugs will bring more players back and there are enough to make it worth playing in NA during primetime.

It is unfortunate that EU seems to be only DTV lately. I like DTV but it just doesn't compare to Battle. You guys should just start playing NA 1 I know some EU have joined us.

chadz should definitely hand over the mod; but not just to dupre, rather a group of active and trustworthy (lol) players that really care about the mod, so that we aren't in the same shitty situation again if Dupre goes AWOL or loses interest.

I am hesitant to get to excited but I have good reason to believe he will be looking into when he gets a chance. Apparently the current problems take more than a few minutes to fix but I have it from a source close to chadz that he will try to get a fix for us in the coming weeks.

Only chadz can put the patch through and fix the launcher bug. Dupre has the patch ready to go with changes to battle and dtv as well as new viking armours.

I have contacted the chadz. He says that everything is just according to keikaku. It's actually James' fault for not specifying that it would be a few weeks of chadztime™.

No one except chadz himself has managed to abuse the loophole in time. He keeps the details to himself, therefore it is impossible for a regular person to reach december 2010.

Apparently Dupre may have everything he needs to bring the NA and EU servers back online and get some patches. Don't want to get too excited but I am more hopeful now that we may get CRPG back.

New development not sure if he did or someone else. But it sounds like we may be able to get it going again. Will need to host servers and transfer to new database.

In the crpg discord Dupre and some others are discussing how to go about it.

 ETA is around 2-3 weeks to get crpg back up.

The only way I was going to take on reviving cRPG was if I had access to EVERYTHING. So to answer your question, yes banners will be fixed.

Also, the reason why it wasn't working is because the storage they were using for banner data was stored in a dropbox that was deactivated. So I believe all there is to it is changing a simple path in the launcher. One of our new team members is already taking a look at it.

Nice! Plz character wipe and remove looms.

Crpg will need new blood to survive, not just the same 10 nerds jerking each other off with their level 50 chars and 100 looms
