i have a problem

have you tried checking the "repair" box on the right and then pressing "play crpg"?

Could this be a firewall problem stopping the launcher from connecting to the crpg database?

Do you have access to the router? Try restarting the router, and if that doesn't work, you can try reverting it to factory settings, but then you would have to set it up again.

There is a player complaining of the same issue on the MODDB page. If anyone can figure this out for them...

Actually, looks like it's a server-side issue. I renamed the cRPG folder to simulate not having cRPG, and got the same problem when trying to download the mod.

Uploading the whole mod would take ages for my shitty wireless internet, so I set up a torrent: https://u.nya.is/gmzsxl.torrent

MAKE A BACKUP OF CRPG BEFORE DOING ANYTHING

If you want to download cRPG:
1. Download the torrent file (https://u.nya.is/gmzsxl.torrent) and run it with a BitTorrent client, like uTorrent 2.2.1 for example.
2. Set the download location inside the 'Modules' folder where Warband is installed
In my case it looks like this:
(click to show/hide)

If you want to help upload cRPG:
Do the same as above, but remember to make a backup of the cRPG folder in Modules


I'm going to sleep now, so I won't seed tonight, but I'll try to leave the compuzor on tomorrow (today after I wake up)

ah! Now I remember that we used to have that issue once and that this solution helped me back then :o

Great. Thanks for posting a link so people can download it! I will pass along the link so that people can get the game while the launcher is bugged. Hopefully we can get a fix for the launcher and banners soon™.

Keep in mind that I alone can only seed at ~80kb/s. The more people seed, the less load it is on each seeder, and people can download faster. In other words, if you have cRPG, then seed pls.

Hey also instead of making it a torrent why not just zip it in a folder and put it on dropbox that way it will stay up and anyone can download without seeders.

James just download a torrent engine like utorrent or whatever and click the crpg file the other guy linked. Load it with the program and once it dls leave it alone. You'll automatically seed it to others looking to dl. However, it will slow down your comp like he was saying unless more people help. More people, lighter load.

I'll try to look into this when I am home from work today. Might it be possible to host the files on a website so that no torrenting is needed? Maybe the files are too large.

mega or mediafire should do the job !
i would love to upload it myself as a direct download link, but my crpg folder is a mess (too much texture editing...) and my upload speed is shit :'(
but i have few friends who want to come back into le mod but they are fucked ....
look like the problem is on server side.
