Title: Land of Spergs - A cRPG Musical Collaboration (That Died)

Here's a collaborative song between a few of cRPG's finest, started way back when we were all preparing for Strat 5.
Naturally, Strat 5 didn't start exactly when we expected it to, and then we never actually finished the song.

We had issues sharing all of the necessary files between what was amounting to nearly 15 or 20 interested musicians and autists alike.
Every time we made a tweak or added a verse, the original guitar track had to be re-recorded and extended, the drum tracks added again, and the file size would increase exponentially.
It got to be a daunting task real quick as we were all sending messages to each other, bobbling four or five different incomplete versions at a time between incompatible programs, and then Dropboxing a mangled mess to our "producer," Zaalback.
Still, this old demo has been sitting on Soundcloud for nearly three years, the project dead in the water. I figured we should share it.

These fuckers all showed great interest in the project (http://forum.melee.org/general-off-topic/anyone-musically-lyrically-talented-w-access-to-decent-recording-equipment/), and offered their help, their time, input, and talent.
Though most of them never had a chance to add their parts to a demo track, it was a fuckton of fun, just the prospect alone of a cRPG collab, and I greatly appreciate the offers from all of them.
I wish we had the capability and time to get everyone involved who was interested and excited about it.

That's me on guitar.
Odin offered to do some guitar work for it, but we never got the chance to get him involved. :|

I'm afraid the US won't be the only ones coping before long.
I had my doubts to begin, but they're ramping right the fuck up with his appointments.

Ah shit, well you go and make me remember all the good ole days...  :cry:


Only last month or so I opened up my old laptop which I hadn't used in a year or more, and sure enough, right on the desktop was a folder called "LoS." Naturally curious as to what the heck I was up to a couple years ago, I opened it up, and bam, all our WIP sound clips for land of spergs were right there (ear-bleed-inducing ones included). Don't think I had this version of it though, definitely by far the most 'finished' of all. Good work!
