I just purchased it but wont be playing it until tomorrow, I'm curious though if anyone plays it/has a opinion on it? It looks pretty fun but maybe a bit complex. Just came out on Steam a couple days ago.

I played a version like 1 year ago? It was already quite fun even though there was not a lot of content.
A couple friends bought it recently, there is lots more things to do and the social interactions possibilities are numerous.
This game is Prison Architect mixed with Dwarf Fortress, short.
Its way less complex than Dwarf Fortress though, I loved trying to learn this game but it is so hard that I quit, where I was able to play and learn RimWorld quite fast, even though the learning curve is steep its way more intuitive and visually pleasant. Buy this if you like any of the games I mentionned, bonus points if you have a boner for spatial colonies and science fiction.

Yeah, its really a great game. Name your colonists as your friends/acquaintances for added fun, just look at the Sim-like funny shit that will happen to them while you try to make your colony survive :lol:
The prisoner management part of the game has been greatly overhauled, it was already lots of sadistic fun before but now its just brain melting.

Their early access description says it is done, just that they're gonna keep adding content.

Even if its baren of content the core atleast should be stable. I remember even a year ago, it had a pile of quite decent mods. Some that added an insane amount of stuff like tanks, nuclear reactors, zombie invasions....
