Today I was feeding my eight months old nephew with banana puree. He was eating like a machine, it was like being Egyptian slave moving stone blocks. Be fraction of a second slower and here comes the whip... crying for not being on time with next spoonful. Try to clean up his chin with handkerchief, he gets angry cause he expects food in front of him. I can understand mother of that obese kid to a certain degree and her reasons for feeding him so much. Poor woman.

"Poor woman" too spineless to stop herself from feeding her son to death, yeah, so deserving of pity.

I said understand, not approve. Drilling discipline into little children isn't for normal people, takes a bit of military nutjob to do that. That is why normal people have various issues raising children, they love them too much to put them through a special regime.
Of course in order to understand what I'm saying you first need to get familiar with that thing people call love and honestly, that seems like tall order in this blind corner of Internets.
