Title: Hearts of Iron IV
Post by: SeQuel on June 06, 2016, 05:50:25 am
I know there was a thread already made but it's almost 2 years old.

Anyone getting it/interested? I've preordered it as I think it looks great. Seeing some complaints about how the AI might be a bit stupid at times but knowing Paradox it will be patched out. This time around the game isn't as railroaded to be historically accurate as they have two settings (Historical and Ahistorical) so you could play Mexico and join the Soviets etc etc. The game plans on being a lot more noob friendly this time around, if you can play EU4 you should be able to play this. HoI3 was a micromanagement nightmare so I'm glad they got rid of it.

It also comes out tomorrow!

Heh, if the diplomacy isn't as locked-in as it was in HOI3 I might try it.

There seems to be a lot more that can be done with the diplomacy in this game, like forming your own factions and staging coups in other countries. Game is released 18:00 cest today and there will be a realise stream from 15:00-19-00 https://www.twitch.tv/paradoxinteractive.

Looking for people to play multilayer games with.
