The 300 length pike -
you can easily hit through your teammate standing infront of you
you can easily hit through walls
tested and aboozed myself, even got 2 wall kills :)
It's waaay too abusable

I agree, I have seen it used a lot as an assist weapon, most of the times I have had it used in this way against me it's been going through a team mate to hit me. Not seen the wall glitch yet but I see that it will probably be the same. Also the pike is not unbalanced, it can be spammed....what?
-
I thought we were supposed to be able to use it through teammates at close range. Walls, on the other hand...
-
It's incredibly easy to hit through things with that pike... especially teammates  Well, I'll just pretend it's another skill to master...
And I wonder how can a 68 speed rating weapon by "spammed", sir.
-
By spammed I mean it's not unbalanced like a heavy weapon normally is, which stops a weapon from being spammed since it takes time for the weapon to return to normal position. This makes it so that if the opponent misses it will take a considerable amount of time before they can swing again even if they haven't been blocked, without the unbalanced quality on the pike the user is free to continue swinging without penalty like a lighter 2 hander/polearm. Also I notice that you can spin before the stab in order to connect at close range, not sure whether that would be classed as abuse or just a tactic.

Alright we understand your concerns but lets keep the discussion at:
pikes can go thru teammates and walls
-
Yes that was my main point, seeing it go through team mates is the worst part, it makes good positioning rather redundant. I was just explaining my point with the spam thing since I was asked.
Edit: My mistake, the "spammable" pike I saw was the long spear which has 245 length, the pike only has a down attack unlike the long spear.

Polearms have always been able to do this with just minimal care. I remember holding Helm's Deep on siege with a shieldwall and a few polearms.
Hitting through walls though is a big problem :(
