Well, my laptop sort of got fixed, but when I start c-rpg up it says im missing ''D3dx9_43.dll''.
any way to fix it? I already pasted the dll into the crpg dll folder but it doesnt seem to help :x

You have to past the dll file into the correct windows folder, not the crpg folder. I got no idea tho which one that would be, but I remember doing that with another dll at some point and it worked.

I just checked it:

For a 32bit system dll files go into C:\Windows\system32

and for 64bit they belong into C:\Windows\SysWOW64

at least when putting them into the folder where the exe/programm is doesn't work ;)

what if I already did it? wuats the consequence

I have windows 10 btw, c-rpg seemed to run fine(?) with it.

Installing is always the much cleaner option, pasting does work. But if unlucky it might cause complications of whatever kind.
You don't only paste games into your programs folder either, you install them and kind of let the system know that it is there.

Why not?

It worked for me aswell with another game or programm even multiple times.

DirectX is more than just a single DLL.
