I was interested in this when it was first announced. Not anymore. The fact that it is only about petty resource management and constant turn-based battles puts me off.
It could have been meaningful, if there was an actual free roaming element to it. The way it is right now, it only looks like downgraded Fallout Tactics, which wasn't a gem itself either.

Also the Redux version? I read the original had some issues but I hear they were mostly resolved.

Haven't seen anything about the redux yet. There is only so much they can improve though.
