Good old mountains, killing strategus mojo since 2010. Although its strange to encounter people that still dont know about them 6 rounds in... at least for me.
I'm reworking the strategus map for next round (might test it at the bitter end of this one if lucky) where mountains will be much rarer. In exchange there will be much more impassable terrain, but at least people will walk around them speedily.
Also the troop speed formula atm is capped at 99% speed malus, meaning that you can have up to 99% speed reduction, which coupled with certain terrain type (with high troop weight influence) is extremely anti-gameplay. Speed formula will be revised, I dont know how it will look in the end, but the cap will be probably increased to something like 95 or 90% speed reduction max at the very least, so that in the direst of circumstances you can move a pixel per hour no problem.
