Title: Can't launch cRPG

I hit no when the updater fails but I get a system error.

Can't start because d3dx9_43.dll is missing from my computer.

This indicates, that one of the many libraries of DirectX is missing.

Your PC might have a hickup, so a restart is always a good idea.
If this does not fix it, download and install the latest version of DirectX.
(Be sure to check the latest release, version numbers sometimes are identical, because apparently Microsoft does not give a shit about setting version numbers higher)

If this does not help, try reinstalling the game. Uninstall it completely, all files and shit that might be left over after using the uninstaller.
Then install it.

If this does not help, download the latest DirectX package, take the d3dx9_43.dll individually and paste it in your DirectX folder.


In case you still get that error, try an exorcism.

also try to type in the left down corner under search "dxdiag" it will tell you all u want to know about your direct x on your system

Switch is correct here it is a direct X problem. Downloading a direct x runtime for your version of windows should do the trick.

Right on thanks, gonna try this tonight. I recently did a complete factory reset on my computer so I guess it'd make sense that some things are still missing.
