The threads about Leshma's renown & infamy should be just collected under one subforum. IMO the name of this thread could be used as the name of that subforum. It would probably be quite popular.

Exactly... Feels bad.
When it first hit me in the weekend I got real scared, thought its an STD. And then it was getting worse every hour. Fucked me up totally in 24 hours. Had constant fever ever since. Only ate twice in 5 days. In best case scenario it will keep on going until next week, and in the worst case a week more, and there is a good chance of getting complications...

Now I know how them poor south-American natives had it...

If you didn't have this shit as a child - get yourself vaccinated asap.

Btw. There is no cure/medicine for it, so it just have to be endured.

I know that feel, i got it at 19. The zits will last for at least a month, another couple of weeks till the scars are gone. Absolutely the worst crap to get when you're older.

Why on earth is it named chickenpox in English and Windpocken (windpox) in German?

Hehe, yeah, sounds stupid in English, very harmless. And it's called wind-pox in Russian too for some reason...

You remember that in Star Trek one had to set phasers to alternating frequency to deal with those obnoxious borg shields? The overlords did a similar thing with Leshma's karma to confuse the shit out of his lingering dissociative identity disorder to keep him relatively docil.

Your parents should have done what every responsible parent should do. Put you in a room with the kid who's got them and infect you.

I got mine around the age of 5/6 in Prague. My parents and their friends (3/4 families with kids) were in Prague and one kid got chicken pox, they put us all in a room like 6 kids and we all got them, was nightmare for parents I believe.

p.s. don't scratch them, they leave nasty scars.
