I learned there was a guy before, he was making personal avatars like his in-game character's avatar for forum members. Is there still someone making something like it? Or anyone knows his steam name?

You'll have to be more specific because there is multiple people. Maybe post or reference someone else' to try and narrow it down?

Schmakos is made by Taimic, but he's retired and only play ocassionally now. Munin seems to be completely dead tho.

What is Schmakos? I had a dream some time ago that there was a Strat faction called Dogmen, and they were dog people talking in dog language, like "woof we're coming to get your Schmackos". They looked like Sahtans from Vattu (http://www.rice-boy.com/).

Some of the work  done for peoples avatars is really amazing on this site. I know screaming idiot was doing some for people at one point. Not sure anymore

- Molly´s avatar was made by Munin, who stopped playin crpg a long time ago. He´s still occasionally drawing manga style (sick quality), but he moved on.
- Schmacko´s avatar was made by Taimic, who only plays, like, 2-3 times a year, veery raarely. He mostly stopped drawing (at least according to his DA acc), but probably still got some sick skills.
- I also used to draw avatars for cprg gold, but that stuff died when I started to ask for ("oh gosh!") actual money, so I moved to a different crowd to take commishs

I can pm you Munins DA-acc (still seems to be pretty active) or get in touch with Taimic, but I think the only guy left who might still take crpg gold as payment is Screaming Idiot, the fourth of us Avatar Makers.

You may need to adjust that number for inflation, unless that was fixed rate. 300k must be like 1 million now. I can't remember previous loom point prices.
