Title: QFT(Take Cover)

We should be able to throw ourselves on the ground by pressing a key.
Add Bindable key to Knockdown on self.

The knockdown animation would probably break immersion a bit, but I ain't no animation creator :(

Edit1(Addition of content):
kd is used as short for knockdown

Of course it should be some changes to recovery etc something like:

General stuff for self-kd:
-You take 10 blunt damage that is affected by armor soak,
-1 for every 2 points in Athletics AND Ironflesh(6 athletics OR 6 Ironflesh= 7 blunt damage, 6 Athletics AND 6 Ironflesh=4 blunt damage)

First "half" of animation(until your body is laying flat on the ground)
-(ONLY APPLIES TO SELF-kd)Animation speed for self-kd= Normal kd animation speed x1,5(+50% length)
-(ONLY APPLIES TO SELF-kd)Athletics decrease the time penalty by 3% per athletics point(which means 1,5 animation time becomes x1,35 at athletics 5, x1,05 at athletics 15)

Second "half" of animation(the getting up part)
These can apply to ordinary kd as well
-Recovery animation speed: 1+(5*(Weight of equipment-Str)-Ath*3-Agi-IF*3, capped to max: 1,5 and minimum 0,75

Please post build(Str/Agi/Ath/IF is enough) and total equipment weight then I can reply with the results of what your recovery time would be.

Nah, we need to remove features to keep it as boring and ascetic as possible. Death to all change and fun!

i would knock myself down and roll around the map


you're literally making me think about being more useless than i already am

i can just imagine rolling under peoples feet and them being unable to catch me as i roll away forever

If they added rolling then they need to make it so you knock people over that you roll into, like  visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Only if a minigame is involved for people who use heavy gear load-outs. If a tincan falls on their back they should have to perform a series of key strokes to get back up.
