This is my last act, I am a desperate man!

Dupre ignores me at steam, even when he is online  :|


In 3 days, the themed battle is coming, and more than 90 players have signed up, but the problem is I do not have 2 banner slots, nor the gold to pay for reparations.


And this is where you come in chadz, please, I beg you mate, give me 11mil gold.

I will need 5.000.000 mil gold to pay the players for their gear (50x100.000x2teams)
and I will need the other milion to buy 2 banner slots.


Please mate, do not let me down, like dupre did! 100 and more players are counting on you!

Honestly you could have found another solution for this, 3 days is not long, but I might have some ideas for you:

Some players like me (no PC access tho this week) would definitely borrow you a lot money for this and Clans like  Hobos would also, as far as I can say, offer you their clan/bannerslot for the event.

In your case I would make 2 new clans and write here that everyone who can and wants to donate money for the event shall join it already and donate the amount of gold in the clan bank which you then use for your bannerslot and gear.

Simple as that, should work and I am pretty sure Dupre will help you with that when he got the time

In case that doesnt work quick enough other clans like maybe Hobos and Krems (got my word) will back you up and can be used as banneridiots for the event.

I believe every player here can afford their own equipment, everyone here have shittons of money, don't fucking deny it.

If you can't get your banner slots, talk with Templar and Saracens leaders, ask if they can accept people to clan temporarily.

I know that most players can buy their own gear, but I want to organize many more themed battles, and the future of them is depending on the first one, if the first fails miserably then the battles shall die aswell...

I know that most players can buy their own gear, but I want to organize many more themed battles, and the future of them is depending on the first one, if the first fails miserably then the battles shall die aswell...

For the future you should use Strategus to setup these battles. Good XP, easy to acquire themed gear and only requires a 2nd person to help. We've been doing it on NA for a while.

I know that, me and a few others been poking him since 3 weeks now for important stuff, no reply at all, but good thing he still writes in few threads sometimes.

It wouldn't be hard. Just hide in the same fief as far away from them as possible, setup the gear in the safety of the city and pop out when it is time to initiate the battle. Who cares if its -1 quality, as long as everything is fair people will have fun.

a few years ago it was possible to appoint two commanders that were able to equip their teams with gear for events like this.  I presume this option is no longer supported?

Yeah, I rember the Samurai vs Knights battle had this and wasn't a Strategus one, either.

Just let players buy gear themselves, most of us already have a crusader or saracen themed alt anyway. It's not that big a deal to buy yourself an armor set. I'm sure we can come up with a solution to bannerslots by using native banners for the battle. There is a cross one for crusaders and a half moon for saracens, stop worrying panos, your event will be fun  :wink:

Everyone can/and should buy his own equipment, and for the banner slots, i am pretty sure you can ask the Hobo Clan and... Peasent united?! Tamra is Clan Leader, she can change, and as far as i know pretty much everyone has a charecter in Peasant United already!

Have you tried spamming them on IRC in pm's and stuff? Jacko and Thomek usually reply and are quite helpful. You never know.

I don't have access to that stuff ofc, only thing I can generate is random unjustified bans and hatred on the forum.

Would be fun, and more realistic with some torn and woren equipment. Maybe something could be +0 or higher? But yeah, -1 or less, doesn't matter, as long as it's fun and fair! Also nice when not everything and everyone is super effective...
