i think we can remove ranged weapons from the game and twohand heroes will still think the patch buffed ranged

 Well i was getting hit up and over a viking shield somehow. Or nudged 50 yards away because the archer had 33 str even tho im in like 500 pounds of gear. Or kicked by kicks not even facing me. Just too goofy

The patch just made ranged annoying.
Seriously, I can take 3 headshots from a longbow, while wearing a pigface. Right? Well that's not the problem, the is that everyone seems to have aimbot now. Keep the accuracy, right. Just drop the missile speed to the point where it's imposible to shoot from one spawn to the other one, without barely adjusting your aim to the distance.

Yeah.. QQ more about ranged. We haven't been nerfed enough.

I believe that due to the recent changes to ranged a lot of people are simply trying it out to see for themselves what was done.
Give it a week and we probably will see a drop in ranged population on the server.

At least that's how it has been in the past in my experience.
I'm tempted to test the 'new' crossbows myself too.

Generally I agree, but having played archer right before and now after the patch I have to say the increased missile speed is making it much easier to land headshots and lead targets at longer ranges. The less time the projectile takes to travel to the target the greater accuracy it will have, as accuracy is only half a stat of the weapon, the other half comes from the hand of the user.

This x1000 please reduce missile speed on both xbow and archery back to where it was.

I wouldn't even be cry, if bows had 50 dmg, it's just that even Battlefield has more realistic projectile drop model.  :mrgreen:

You might actually want to try a proper archer build and not your gimped balanced garbage (with more PS than WM?!?!??) before complaining that archery is weak. Same goes for some other people as well though. 9-11PD is where it's at and has been for a while and anything else is a compromise to be better at melee.
