So I was thinking a early hand cannon (earliest handheld firearm) that would take a very long time to reload, be very inaccurate, but kill in one shot all or most times. Since they were so unwieldy I was thinking maybe not allowing the shooter to move while aiming them, and making them have a heavy weight of course. There are records of hand cannons being used in the 1300's by Europeans and even earlier versions in the East.

I'm ok with something that takes like 3 slots and doesn't really work well, so as to not upset balance.

Yes I was thinking about that today. Make it very strong, at least like the arbalest, with rather high projectile speed but very inaccurate, i mean EXTREMELY inaccurate so that it's unusable beyond 10m. Make it so it is very slow to reload, or not reloadable at all.
It could have a secondary blunt melee.

Also maybe a shorter weaker variant to use from horseback.

It should also require a very high level of Power Draw I think, a horseback version? No. It would be a waste of an item, HA are already weak as fuck, and giving them a more inaccurate variant of a ranged thing would just be a waste of time, if it WAS accurate it would be overpowered due to the ridiculous damage it would do.

I think it's a good idea, if the cannon is a single use item.

But no 400 length pike, fuck off with that shit.

EDIT: Usually I'd not support an idea like this, but the arbalest is now 24 strength requirement. A long maul and great maul are 24 strength, that patch making ranged useless, is retarded.

found an OSP some days ago that contains a hexagonal stick with a black circle on one end. certainly one of the most ugly items i haven seen in my life. it's so ugly i won't even post the picture because it may traumatize minors for lifetime. it happens to be a hand cannon firing super-edgy icosahedron bullets

yes, there is team death match, battle servers with players only and one with bots and there is siege but you only get 7 lives.
