Title: Launcher issue
Post by: arowaine on February 11, 2016, 05:58:17 am
I do have some of my friend trying to come back into the game like 2 day ago and they are receiving this message

http://System.Net.ServicePoint.ConnectSocketInternal(Boolean connectFailure, Socket s4, Socket s6, Socket& socket, IPAddress& address, ConnectSocketState state, IAsyncResult asyncResult, Int32 timeout, Exception& exception)

they did try to re install the game, the luncher and everything properly, still not working and receiving those message, they also try at different time to connect and update there luncher etc etc.

any idea anyone ?

Sometimes ticking the "offline" box works for me when I fail to launch.

The launcher is not for lunch. If people finally understood this it wouldn't regularly break.

What version of windows is your "friend" running arrowaine? I had a similar problem with windows 8.1 and I had to download the game to a PC running windows 7 and then transfer the files over to my new PC. I have no idea why, but from what I could tell it had something to do with the .NET framework.

Whatever is causing this is fairly common. I have also had a few people come to me with this error.

Wouldn't it be easier to run it in compatibility mode for Windows 7?
