Title: Super huge ping spikes

Howdy,
I have returned to crpg after a month of inactivity and these past 5 days my ping jumps from my usual 70 up to 100 and then up to 200 ping. I checked speedtest and it shows my ping being 6, and my internet is fast because I have optic cable. I have my router at home, and im using cable.
So whats the problem? Any of you the IT masters know answer maybe?

Same. Either its because Im on the east coast or my ISP is mad at me for doing 50% of my usage in the 1st week.
