hope it has manual control (sorry just watched a small part)
because software can fuck up, and it will fuck up at some point (get it lel chino) and losing altitude while spinning to your doom is not fun

Looks sick btw, it can fly with even with like 3 propellers gone, so thats something. 2016 is what they aim for as a launch, sounds crazy.

Having a manual control override would probably result in more accidents, not less. What does "manual" even mean when you have 8 rotors to handle? That kind of aircraft needs significant computerized assistance to be controllable in the first place. Second, I suppose you can add a parachute anyway, but it has to have an extremely short deploy distance.

i know how huge sound a small drone makes, is there a way how to reduce the noise so you don't become deaf after your first flight? even helicopters make huge noise, this has to be even worse... and not for pilots only but for people on the ground too.
