I'd love to see a small teaser trailer sometime in the future so we can get a small idea as to how awesome this games gonna be!

What i meant to say was a teaser trailer for what they've got so far in Epic, that way the general public can find out about the game/we can show people something of the game.
-
We got the first trailer about half way through the alpha, before it closed. I suspect that first way of new alpha will be early early backer only and once we get enough people on the server and choreograph everything, a steam early access trailer will be made and then Hello World. Patience guys.
-
I guess the next devblog will show ingame video anyway. I wouldn't launch a trailer just yet. What good is it to generate hype if there's still such a long way to go?
-
I thought they said its gonna be soon. Like Q1 2016? For the alpha release at least?
-
I was talking about the full release which is important for the general public. I don't think it's wise to hype up the alpha version of a game unless you're dependent on early access money.
-
I mean a small teaser trailer just to show some of the dev teams progress on Alpha, just for us close followers on the project, if that makes sense.

Building hype is all good and well, but we don't want it to come at expense of actual development, a lesson learned from Kickstarter. At the moment a lot of the epic world is functional, albeit in placeholder state. When we have something worthwhile you can be sure we'll show it : ).

Where are the real donkeys? How did you replace them with serious and sensible people? Aliens?
Or are you terminal ill and changed your personality drastically?
WHAT HAPPENED HERE?! D:

Thanks for giving us insight as to how development stands at the moment. Yes I agree it might be a little early to do a trailer, but maybe you could do a couple dev blogs showing some of the features in game.
