How did you come up with baklava recipe?
-
Everyone knows Baklava is Israeli...erm...Greek...erm...just joking.
Does anyone else experience a burning despair at the knowledge that there's baklava without rose or orange water?
-
Isn't the recipe like, cloth?

When i went to Turkey i was disgusted by Baklava, Lahmacun, Börek etc... Only the bread and vegetables were good. Luckily they had pizza stores and Burger Kings nearby.

Depends really on where you consumed them. All three of those delicacies are made by all kinds of people using all kinds of cheap or quality ingredients. If you had actually tasted well-made ones, you most probably wouldn't be disgusted at all. Especially when it comes to börek and baklava, I'd strongly advise you to taste homemade samples that came from the cordial hands of a granny. Readymade ones usually tend to suck.
On the other hand, it could as well be you having developed an addiction for classical American fast food though.

Oh i've tried Turkish Delight. Pretty sweet but good overall. As long as they're not the ones filled with nuts and shit.

Not really but the food i really like is plain and derpy as fuck. In Turkey/Middle East people love to spice the food like crazy and add tons of stuff. Fast food though is an easy to go food.

Well, that is understandable. However, you have got to remember that the spiciest food you are likely to encounter comes from your own people :D
As you go further into the east, the food gets much spicier. Lahmacun is a good example and it is overall delicious.
Still, I believe it is all in good balance, considering some other cuisines in the region.
