I would like to be able to see who is online in a server, how would I do that? Also, how do I search for my friends in the cRPG website?

Join the server, hold tab.

There's usually just one or two servers per continent populated. Joining and checking is quick enough, if not supremely convenient.

You can track your friends in Steam, for example. You can send messages on http://c-rpg.net itself to anyone you know the character name of.

Ask them for that info.
