Dear gods of C-rpg,
Make a melee only server, no one like siege anyways.
Or ban all archers either one works.
Also the nudge mechanic may have basically broken the game. Please tie the nudge to power strike not base str. Archers can punch people 15 feet away, shoot, punch, shoot over and over again.

You lost me at siege sucks. Coincidentally, all your other ideas were bad as well. Also fun fact, archers tend to have p.s. now as well with high level builds.

There is a reason every single "melee only" server have failed in the past and that is because melee alone is boring.

Melee server sounds like it'd be a blast, it would get me back into the game I'm sure. Every time I get on I end up just leaving because I don't feel like dealing with rampant trolls (rock throwers, constant runners, cavalry, etc)

And if nudge distance really is tied to Strength only and not PS, that should definitely be changed.

..nah, chasing players that base their build on kiting is boring. Although I kinda agree that melee only servers don't work all that well.

The issue for NA probably isn't a lack of a melee server, but rather that there are a lot of players that spend more time running away than engaging other players.

It really does sound good, but it struggled to actually find players even in the times when battle and siege and the Pecores servers were pulling 300 people total.

And a melee only server would have nothing to deal with a constant runner. No one to shoot him, throw shit at him or cavalry to run him over. Simply nothing to stop him in his tracks.

You should try siege though, the objective based gameplay doesn't lend well to those types. If it ever comes alive again.

No, but it's easy to sheathe the bow and do the unarmed block nudge and run away.

True, but just sheathing is faster and you can launch the unsuspecting melee guy with a nudge almost immediately.
At least that's how it feels.

You're right about the runner thing. I guess that just brings us back to the fact that people ruin everything nice.

If only that was something they would make you do. That would bring something abit different to the table. It'd feel more rewarding when killing everyone
(Edit) I feel like that was actually how the game was ment to be played. 3rd person combat is too easy
