Warhammer total war looks amazing tho, i hope my laptop wont melt when i try to run it on lowest.
Don't forget to pre order it or chaos race plus their quest line will be locked as DLC afterwards!

Well, for me personally, the game is not bad but they could have done so much more than a reskinned left 4 dead.
There's friggen "Spitter", "Smoker", "Hunter", "Tank" in the game as special units! Just skinned as rat man.
Also, why only rat man? In all warhammer, only rat man are a menace? It's just makes it look like a cheap game made to get some quick bucks.

Looks kinda fun, if you like the warhammer universe or played the table top game it's probably worth a try. I'll pick it up when it's on sale or I get some free time.

Except it isn't true Total War. Just TW battles posing as missions afaik.
wat Missions are a PART of normal campaigns, think - accessing historical battles but ON the campaing map (kinda by walking to them?), at least that is how I understand it.

Well I haven't played it but seen some alpha/beta gameplay where they mentioned there is no empire building and global map. Maybe I understood that wrong.

Not sure where you got that idea lol, it's your usual Total War business with a Warhammer theme, except Agents and Lords are single powerful controllable units on the battlefield. It doesn't look too bad really, but I am not going to expect anything great either.
I will get this unless it has a horrendous launch then I'll wait, but I will be buying it off Kinguin or something like I did with Attila and got it for much cheaper. Kinguin already advertising £25 pre-orders, the key may come from other key sites but the small fee for Kinguin protection covers your arse, I've never had a problem with Kinguin keys regardless.
It might not include the DLC as I'm not sure if they will just be getting release keys and sending them to you on release day, but it's half the price of the Steam pre-order and you can bet your money the DLC will be cheaper on there too, meaning even if you have to buy the DLC seperate you'll get both for cheaper than pre-ordering. OR You can go the Steam Refund route, pre-order it for £50, the only advantage this gives you is being able to test the fully legal retail version for 2 hours before refunding it if it's bad, but personally I'd rather wait and pirate it than relying on 2 hours to test a Total War game.

Bought it, asked for a refund after 15 minutes. The gameplay is about as deep as a puddle, and about as fun as Siiem's jokes.
The games actually a lot of fun. The game also takes a lot more skill than Left 4 Dead and requires actual teamwork and strategys to complete the higher difficulties.
I'm enjoying it a lot and for 30$ this is a pretty good game.

It's purely PvE left 4 dead even down to the special units. Good fun for an hour or so each evening with some friends but it's not exactly deep. A lot of the missions are quite repetitive fetch quests, the final boss battle is laughable and the loot system is infuriating and grindy.
However, lots of positives. It's a challenging game on harder difficulties, the maps tend to be quite long, a good variety of classes, it's a very nice looking game albeit with a few bugs, and it's ideal for some casual coop fun.
Will be interesting to see how they do the DLC. Hopefully maps will be free but I can see them releasing more characters and weapons as paid DLC.
I would love for them to do a vs mode at some point but probably won't happen.

It's a pretty decent game... If you spent a lot of time playing L4D or L4d2 and thought that game had great replay value then you will probably think the same for this game. Graphics are great, gameplay and mechanics are fairly solid, decent sound.
My biggest gripe with the game is that there is no progression aside from finding weapons and combining those weapons to get other upgraded randomized weapons.
Game would have been much better with unique talent trees for each character and character progression (which could serve to better separate the heroes into different roles or specializations). A lot of people disagree with me on this but I think it would increase the replay value.
As of now I have 11 hours played on the game, I'll be very surprised if I get past the 25 hour mark before uninstalling the game.
