Title: Banning on the first day of patch?
Post by: Nordwolf on September 28, 2015, 11:43:06 pm
It was like 50 people 5 minutes ago on the server, atm it's 25.

I'm pretty sure at least ~10 people were banned for trying out new stuff, other people just were fast enought to leave after the warning.
Sure nice way to kill all the hype about the new patch, if you really don't want people to use invisible armours and things better release the patch properly or give a day leave on these things.

PS: didn't really care myself since I have to go to sleep anyway
PPS: don't think I've ever been banned before, how do you check for how long?

No one should be banned for using the new items even if they are broken. We are currently working on a fix patch should be released shortly.

it´s a 1 day ban, and only 2 or 3 people actually got banned

Admin clearly said that he´s going to ban people who are using invisible items and even told in admin chat that he´s going to ban in the next round, that´s why almost everybody then switched back to normal armors  :?

it was fun, but kinda messy aswell, especially with invisible swords

how is that a bannable offense...

ever tried blocking an invisible sword? Tried it myself before admin showed up, people had no chance

it´s fun, but unfair. And we don´t know how long it will take until the hotfix is out

so fin is teamkilling 2 teammates in the beginning of the round and then he bans people for checking out new gear. wow.

It might be unfair, but it shouldn't lead to a ban on the first day of patch, everything indeed was a mess.

PS: Didn't use the swords, only a mule and armour. Which I guess is unfair too.

You can ban people for using these weapons to fight but you can't ban people for using these weapons to troll

sure, but who cares and how is that the fault of the player? just seems weird to put out a bugged patch, then ban players for fucking around while they can with it.

sorry but you`re a retard.

Apart from the fact that Fin kills his own clanmates, AT THE END OF A ROUND, there is a big difference on teamkilling and allowing someone to abuse/exploit invincible items.

Pfft.

I have warned ppl to not use invisible stuff. They didn't listen, so they got banned.

And when teammates attack me at spawn, i feel free to defend myself.

Justice served. You should know better than using broken items.

Now I'll escort myself through the door. Enjoy sii-arr-pii-gee, fellows.

teamkilling 2 guys 2 rounds in a row at spawn is okay? Isn't it like teamkilling is never allowed? no matter what happens? Isn't that what ALL other admins say?

And standing at the end of the map? Absolutely not contributing to the team effort?
Title: Re: Banning on the first day of patch?
Post by: F i n on September 29, 2015, 01:01:21 am
Could of banned em straight away - then there would of been like 10 players left.

btw, if u may did not read that.

So u ban people for teamkilling, and u have -150 points and kill two guys in the beginning? WOW dude u should be rewarded! Thats the heaviest nonsense Ive seen in my life.

are there like no other admins getting offended by one of their admin-mate doing constantly bullshit and being a bad example of what an admin should be?
Title: Re: Banning on the first day of patch?
Post by: ecorcheur_brokar on September 29, 2015, 01:22:05 am
Well maybe banning ppl still using it after 3 days when the fun-trolling is over could be ok but banning ppl on the first day for using the just released items is retarded. Plus many don't speak english or don't read chat, kick would have been a better warning if you really needed people to respect your authoritaah.
Title: Re: Banning on the first day of patch?

Just to get eveything in one post now:

You ban people, for something that is not banable, still you don't care.
You ban people for teamwounding, when u teamkill people in the beginning of the round and in a 3 vs 1 u go duel ur mate also.
U go to the end of the map and do nothing, when everyone else is dead u go spec. Am I wrong or does that mean you're absolutely not contributing to the team effort, which is (OMG) bannable?
U muted someone who said "fin abooooze"

So u tellin me everything here is legit?

I would absolutely not care if you were no admin, just a normal krems trolling, wouldnt mind that. But an admin who obviously does not follow the rules is ridiculous.

I appreciate your effort to make me look bad, but repeating the same lie over and over again does not make it more or less true. I would explain myself... but writing all that down in detail wouldn't be worth the typing, considering your shitposting. So i'll continue leaning back enjoying YOUR show.

Jesus, BlackBird, calm your tits, it´s just one day, you can´t live without crpg for one day?

As if none of us got banned once and didn´t feel treated right in those 4 years, sheesh, happens

You may have a point, it may have been a harsh decision of Fin, but don´t go full drama queen now about a 1 day ban.

Nobody likes drama queens.

Lol, I do never break rules when I actually know what Im doing, earlier I didnt know all the rules and sometimes i missunderstood something which led to some bans, but I havent been banned for ages. I did not get banned today, wouldnt give a single fuck about it though, but I get extremely annoied by fin doing whatever he wants and whenever he gets confronted he is like - dont bother me with that bullshit, im good boy, me no break rules.

Omg it's so annoying that nobody cares about it. It's like: thats fin, get used to it or gtfo. I got no problems with him personally, like I cant say that he is an asshole cuz I do not know him, but the things he does are not supposed to be done when you are an admin.. Those people should be an example on how to play that game. If everyone would hide at the end of the map ....

They can't even assemble goddamn Ikea furniture and people are expecting them to make the game no one did before. That's called wishful thinking. Expecting me or Fin to change our behavior after being here for four years is also wishful thinking. Newmy old friends gotta newmy old friend.

Well... ya know... Adolf wasn't supposed to end all those jewish people, but people make mistakes. Not saying that Fin is anything like good old Adolf, it's just the crappy analogy I could make up atm. Also Godwins Law must be RESPECTED AT ALL COST.

Well right after the release was kind of iffy but you can see Fin warned them about it. Since we have to wait till the servers get updated to get the fix patch on, i told NA admins to warn, kick, ban anyone who is abusing invisible items.
