Just a simple suggestion, some weapons should have some sort of cleave ability wich makes the weapon cleave through several enemies not just 1? Maybe it would turn out to be OP, but if the damage would decrease per enemy it wouldnt be that op and only unbalanced slow weapons should have it...
Got the idea from slicing some horses in DTV ^^

wouldn't be realistic or balanced in my opinion. It also wouldn't fit the overall feel of the game. Warband is warband, not god of war.

ever watch Deadlist Warrior on SpikeTV? There are several weapons with enough mass that once you get them going they CAN go thru multiple people.

From a realism perspective it may not me an issue of cleaving through so much as slashing across. What I'm imagining is a bardiche orglaive which could slash across the torsos of a few enemies. I like the idea of a damage reduction though, especially since the primary use of the weapon would be the hitting of a horse and rider in one swing. Loads of times I've tagged an ankle or shield when I was in fact aiming for a horse's bum or head.
Cool idea, I hope some balanced form of it is implemented :D

I've suggested multiple times that 2h weapons get speeds reduced significantly but add in appropriate cleaving abilities.
I'd also love chances of being disarmed or weapon knocked out of your hands for blocking etc

I am going to vote no on this idea, simply because we will see rampant accidental tking if this is implemented.

I was thinking that maybe great long bardiche could have cleave and german poleaxe (but add unbalance and reduce speed), not 2h... If the damage would be reduced by like 50% per cleave it wouldnt be that OP, it can simply be blocked since its so slow. I dubt it would increase teamkilling, like with all other weapons you just got to watch where you are swinging.
