I watched a short documentary on DW, that said that German universities attract more and more people from all around europe for studies, hopefully next year I will graduate from here, and I was thinking to go to a post grad univ.
Can you answer some questions for me my Germoney friends?
1. Are you universities for free?
2. Do I have to take any kind of exams to be accepted, or I just apply with my high school diploma?
3.Do I have to speak German to be accepted, I guess no, but I`m asking anyways!
I went into the DW site in order to find some more information, but I was out of luck, can you give me a couple of sites that explain how the german univ`s work?
Danke.

talk with Illuyanka about that. She lives in turkey at the moment and comes to germany to study here.
For germans the universities are free, I dunno if it would be free if you come from a other country, but I guess it is free^^
And no! You don't have to be able to talk german.

German Universities are not free. None of them but(!)...
We don't have American fees at public universities but you do have to pay a fee per semester that is normally somewhere around 200-300€.
My University takes 282€. Includes a train/tram ticket which gets around the city and even a good part of Northern Germany by train.
About the application process, I can't really tell you anything. I am pretty sure tho that every University has an English language version of their site (http://www.uni-bremen.de/en.html).
Likely that there is some information about it in there.

I think in the past there had been problems with Greek university entrance qualification in Germany. Maybe that was changed with the Bologna shit.
What kind of degree will you get? What field?
