Title: NA Strat 5 "GOLD DUPING"

Disclaimer: This is an abusable mechanic and might result in you getting banned or it may be viewed as a "stroke of luck" and greenlighted.

Requirements: A buddy, shit ton of goods (the farther east the better), strat silver equal to double the amount of goods, any fief (an eastern buy fief with high S&D is the best)


How to dupe: ***Make sure you and your buddy are right outside of the entrance of the fief, 1 tick to enter***
1) Put all the goods onto your buddy (you need the silver)
2) Enter the fief and at the same time have your buddy attack you.
3) You lose battle (24 hours later) and get transferred to EU (DON'T MOVE)
4) Your buddy puts all the goods on the town center of the fief for 1s each
5) Under the info tab you will still have access to the fief; go to the town center and buy all the S&D your buddy put up
6) Purchase the S&D from the fief
7) Start heading towards the closest Sell Fief you can find...All your goods will have great distance bonus already.

This is only a theory and hasn't been tested but all evidence (provided by McDeath) points to a 100% success rate. Please fix this bug!

I didn't realize that "100 times the player" meant "double the number of bans." Doesn't look too good for the leader of a clan that is "mindful of the rules and respectful of other players."

To be fair Acre has a pretty low ban average compared to other clans. I mean Saints been banned like once or twice, Behemoth has been banned a few more than that but other than that I can't barely remember any Acre members being banned(James, Axeman, Cassander, Selka, Trueshot/LuckyCharms, and those guys are all pretty good players in terms of following the rules). Compared to some other clans thats pretty good especially considering how big they are. I mean hell every single active member of Blackguard has been banned at least once(I've been banned twice on NA and i think once on EU, Randos been banned once AFAIK on NA, and everyone knows UfoinsI love you been banned like 5+ times.). So yeah I'd say Acre is a clan that is mindful of the rules and respectful of other players.

lol I guess I've been banned like 3 times already :3 but not for something serious, once for kicking someone outta a fief transfer, which was actually no fief transfer but I didn't know that xD. Once for leeching... Had 130:40 on conquest and was by 100 points better than the second best on the whole map, but after 1 hour playing I went to smoke a cigaret and was imo ban polled by phortos lol, and once for making a ban poll for a horse archer who delayed the round. Oh damn and once for hitting the viscount on DTV. Would probably do all of those "mistakes" again xD I do not repent anything  8-) :twisted:

Actually there was a time when like every second day there was a banpoll for eques, but pretty much cuz some admins hated some of us, cuz some of us were actually pretty dump (still I love them <3). And then those admins kinda banned us every time we did something unallowed. imo. I guess Sebb was banned now more than 10 times already :3 Even though he plays like only 1,2 years or sth.

Comparing Acre to your new clan is making a whole lot of generalizations. Did you really ask every other clan out there how many bans each of their players has? Because the ban total is going to be far lower than what you expect.

Whether you actually committed the crime or are a good Samaritan who got the go ahead to use it by devs. What you were using is still duped gold. And nothing you do can changed that. I'm not saying that you were right or wrong in using it either. Just that saying it's not duped gold is blatantly false.

Price Change is not a dupe. It's the Devs making a change and then not properly thinking about it in other areas. Kinda like Insider trading, but without the knowing ahead of time. By this statement, anyone that buys a Short sword is ALSO duping as the price got reduced on strat by more than 60% so you could buy 3 times as many as before.

Duped gold, on the other hand is using an exploit in the game not intended (IE transferring gold between character would not transfer the original owners, but the receiver would get it.)

Hi everyone. I've only been playing the game for about a year now, but Im starting to get to know the community alot better.

What makes me really sad is how quickly this attempt to fix an exploit devolved into a pissing contest fueled by everyones old hates.

Just because certain people dont like certain people doesn't mean ppl in Squids or Acre or any other faction are gonna be trolls or assholes.
 
Acre is quite large, to be honest, I don't like everyone in the clan, but that comes with the territory of such a large population; and I believe in what Acre and alot of these other big clans stand for, we are always here to take on new people and help them enjoy this game and stick with C-RPG as much as possible.   
It's pretty pathetic how people will automatically trash talk because of a Banner during battles/other, or how teams get stacked one way or the other in strat.  Feels like Romeo and Juliet in some instances, I am friends with alot of these so called enemies of state.

Certain people are prone to behaviors that can be annoying but there is way too much animosity going around, and these old grudges are everywhere.
People need to act out sometimes, I guess, it is after all just a game in the end...  fudgin trollz

What I'd really like to see is if people could sluff off the past and we NA peeps could unite against the real enemy.   (EU !!!)
Those bastards have infested our map and are strong-arming smaller less known factions to join them or be demolished.... you guys in power are too busy squabbling over old butt-hurts to notice these crooked teethed, slick backed mofuckers stealing our whole map out from under us.

I suggest we set aside our differences and unite.  Once this threat is abolished then let us play out these feuds in an equitable manner. I wish strat rosters were evened out a little better regarding Mercs, the more even the teams the better the fight.  And lets keep setting battles during good times for all of us :)

Sry for last nights strat battle BTW to anyone who was there, My renter busted into my nerd den right after the battle started and was crying to moaning about how he had locked his keys in the room, In my panic I was afk, ended up having to Drill out the 2 retaining screws and take off the knobs / screw driver that baby open.  Beats repairing a door jamb or paying a locksmith over 100$, either way if ever something comes up again I'll just exit the game immediately.
