Title: Cars
Post by: darmaster on August 18, 2015, 11:05:57 pm
just post pictures of your two favourite types of cars, one for everyday usage and the other for expensive ones

Lancia Delta
(click to show/hide)

Bentley Continental GT

(click to show/hide)

the delta's interiors are much better, just as for german cars, british ones have usually spartan interiors; only italian and french cars have classy ones to me p:

Those delta interiors do indeed look nice but i think that lancia's exterior styling has been wayyyy off the last couple years, i blame Chrysler for that.  Like their cars look neither sophisticated, pretty or sporty, I really don't know what they are doing.

might be but i think that model was before fiat bought chrysler; as for those alfas, good taste, i love them, tho i'm more for the lancia's classy than alfa's sporty style. giulia and giulietta best alfas to me.

For everyday use (the few days where I'd actually need a car - currently I don't - will be a community car for fellow hermits) - a classic Landy or something like this:

Luxury car? Not so interested anymore. But I used to have one of these guys - Alfa Spider convertible... not THAT expensive, but was useless, fast and fun enuff for me...

I hate the "current" Mustang with passion. It's dirt under the nails of the classic ones imho.
They are rather cheap on the European market afaik.

When I was a kid like 15 years ago my dad once came home with a new car and seriously brought a fucking semi-sport car for 2k bucks.

It survived like 6 months but I freaking loved it, no interior, no ABS, broken electronics. It was just loud, old, smelly but god damn fast. I think it had 155PS and weight of around <1 ton

Ours was actually silver but it looked pretty much the same. (lol @ lincense number)

(click to show/hide)

On dream car I agree with Knitler, must be definitly a Ford Mustang, preferably SVT cobra but they are so rare and far too old already for daily use, it would be a pain.

(click to show/hide)

And I couldnt care less for a normal car, give me a golf and I am fine

you cant get a good mustang on european markets for a reasonable price that doesnt have a crash history.  a girlfriend of mine had to find out the hard way.  bought a caymann gt4s  instead now.

Id like an A6 alltrack with some customization as every day car.

now dream car. dunno.  I am sure Ill someday get something along the line of an sls amg convertible in brown,  a 69 mustang mach1,  a cobra,  a 69 vette or a veyron for the lols :D

Suprise! Nothing here, I dont even have a license, and Im not going to get it, unless I win some lottery with 100 millions, or something like that. I grew up without a car, noone in my family have ever had a car. Either public transport, or bicycle.

GTFO peasant. Seriously, public transport is the worst. I haven't taken the bus for years, eugh.

It depends on the country though, i found living in the Netherlands i really had no need for a car as public transport works so well and cycling is fully accommodated for; here in the UK its almost impossible to do without a car as the public transport is a mess and cycling in towns is often a serious gamble with your life.

I was like that when I was 16. But now I love things like leather interior, auto climate control, heated seats etc. Hell, I wouldn't even buy a car without electric windows.

Cars are only useful for getting from point A to point B. Being enamored with them and their looks is just a sign of the consumer brainwashing working on you.
