Title: Zeus has a problem with my title. Free heirlooms from Patch of Destiny.

Hello whoever can do this.

I was wondering if you could give a reforge option to the 4 heirloomed items that were given to new players. The mail tunic, long arming sword, war spear, and two handed sword. This way a player will get less loom points out of them but be able to use them for what they want instead of these mandatory items. While they are appreciated that heirloomed items were given to new players, it would be nice if something could be done with them.

I'll say this, i've been playing this game for 5 years, and I have 4 +3 items to my name. I know its my fault i always respec'd and only until recently (last year) i started gen grinding. However, I feel like I wish I had those free looms tho I was never able to get them. I would actually use those weapons.

Just make it on "free heirloom exchange" allowed. My son doesn't care about his 2H sword +3, he wants helmet ! And green mail tunic is ugly, he wants blue one !

I had one +3 at the time and I didn't get them, my friends who just started playing years after me had 4x the +3s and my friend who was 10gens higher than me got them too and he had 5 +3s at the time. Some bullshit I tell you hwat. I went tryhard though and now I have 14(which isn't a whole lot compared to some).

actually u can't really use more than 20. many are fine with less than 10 and most only use 6-7 items even though they have 20.

I like having extras so I can give them to my friends that dont play as much to use

Essential looms=
- arabian horse
- heavy lance
- A good 2h polearm before the slot changes, after that any 1h, been using military hammer, blunt is nice.

Never loomed any armor, or shield, recently added a +3 ashwood pike for occasional lulz use on horse or foot, but those 3 looms have been the only important ones. I've used +3 armour occasionally from Merc armoury, and it does help, but I've always considered armor looms overrated. It's prob just cause of class and playstyle, light cav is kind of a glass canon anyways. Surely a lot more useful for frontline infantry builds, especially ones without shields at the mercy of my old friendchers and other ranged scum.

So I was thinking, if this won't happen, why not make the items available to be placed in a clan armoury? What's the harm in that?

Buy cheap new cd-key => Free multiple heirlooms for all to use. There's a reason they are non-tradeable.
Introducing these looms to either armories or the market would cause inflation to rise even more.

A lot of people have never or rarely retire nowadays, and therefor generate nearly no own MW's of their own. They rather tend to just focus on leveling to higher levels. Then they join a clan that already have a stocked armory, therefor they see no need to retire. it's one of the 2 main reasons why loompoints are so high in price nowadays. Less people retiring, and inflation in general because of tons of money earned in every game mode.

At least that's one of the reasons it probably won't happen.

Also, because us cats have to make sure humans can't increase their weapon stocks even further!
