Is it worth looming the heavy morningstar?
It is my favorite weapon at the moment but I know it is a little gimped. My question, Is it really three loom points better? Or would I be better of spending them on the long bardiche (or other OP polearm).

42p at +3 is pretty hectic m8. I'd use it, but I think I'd miss stabbing too much.
-
looming the morningstar is actually more effective than looming other weapons of this kind.

If you want to try good +3 polearms come and join PEPE clan. http://c-rpg.net/?page=clan
For free in armurery you can find :
BEC, GLB, SVAERDTSAV, LIGHT GLAIVE, FAUCHARD AND GERMAN POLEAXE all +3
Enjoy testing them all....
(for info it is LONG morning star not HEAVY one)

Hands down its a good idea, Its one of the most devastating weapons in the game, be careful for teammates in a cluster fawk frey though, you will kill anything that comes in contact with it w/ descent str. :0
Thats my next planned weapon to Loom!
-
wanted to loom that one in strat too, but playing with it feels crap. It's like u got a mega slow poleaxe.
-
Long bardiche isn't so op, u should learn how to play with it first.
morningstar is a realy good weapon, with good balance damage/speed/lenght, just continue to loom it.
if u want any good polearm weapon - let's loom bec de corbin, long hafted spiked mace, gla, long hafted blade or poleaxe. those weapons are good too.
but it depends on you, your playing style and your preferences

Sometimes the slow swing fucks up their timing sorta like the long maul

heavy morningstar seems like a great bet for strategus looming on paper - it's a pierce damage bonus against shields weapon with decent reach
FUCK YO SHIELDWALLS *slam* slam* slam*
