Title: cRPG and Windows 10
Post by: Legs on August 08, 2015, 01:24:46 am
I can't start cRPG full screen in windows 10. Windowed it has low frames per second. Is this just a problem with my PC being a toaster? Advice to fix this FATAL problem? My video card isn't receiving a driver update for windows 10 it seems, I've upgraded to the windows 8 drivers but still can't run the game.

Help pls or you may never see me playing again.

It's most likely your drivers need updating, or windows 10 might have installed incorrectly.

Check your Nvidia Panel/Catalyst Control Center for Overscan settings. Had a few customers already coming to me with the same problem and different games.

I used to be able to reduce game almost instantly in windows 7 to change music, set stats etc. now with windows 10 I get a 3-5 second long black screen reducing the game and bringing it back. Anyone else have or had this issue and know if there is a fix?

Is this what you're talking about? I changed from aspect ratio scaling to full screen, I also tried activating the override thing neither helped.

I updated to 10 because 7 will probably lose support before long but man I kind of want to go back now.

Yes I have this same problem, also things are generaly slower for me on the whole, e.g. start up takes longer

With crpg, since windows 10 it is very stuttery, even when I put settings to lowest it still stuttered. Before I had full settings and smooth game play.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to.

Windows 7 will continue receiving security updates until January, 2020. Only mainstream support was stopped earlier this year, which means Microsoft stopped offering free live support and non-security-related features.
You can revert back to your original Windows version (within 30 days of upgrading) through "Start > Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Go back to Windows 7/8.1"
