Title: Anyone tried Caribbean?

I just noticed this Caribbean! game made with the Mount & Blade engine on Steam, anyone tried it recently? I don't want to buy another half-finished game but has it improved enough to be worth it at this point?

I played the first versions and it was meh. It had new features but also lacked a lot of good features from Warband. It's fun for a while.
