Leg armor is something I've neglected to look into on my characters. My 2H character wears Shynbaulds with his Transitional Armor because it matches. I'm wearing Rus Shoes on my 1H/Shield for the Norse look, but thought maybe I should use something else.
What should I wear on my legs in most situations? I'm not cavalry, so I went very light to start, but maybe I want more?

Afaik leg armor has an X1 weight penalty multiplyer. I always wear heavy leg armor since the drawback isnt as bad as with helms/gloves, and since projectiles fall while flying in the air that is where they often land.

Either Rus cavalry boots or Rus splinted greaves. Both match with a lot of armors also, while offering respectively medium and heavy protection to legs. If you want something in between, you should go for the leather splinted greaves over mail.

Eastern Llamellar seems to have the best weight/armour for lighter boots, then just wear whatever you like if you want heavier ones. Boots can be quite nice to have against ranged, the leg hitbox is bigger than you might think. Also if people see you have bad boots on they might target there with melee
