So, I was talking to a friend and he mentioned how awesome the "Welcome Back to cRPG" stuff he got was, I didn't really understand what he meant by that, but then he explained me about it and when I check my mail it says I received 5 "heirloom exchange services" but I have none.
I say I have none because I'm guessing that a heirloom exchange service is an exchange point? Or maybe heirloomed items, but the only heirloom item I have is a MW Katana that I had when I played back in 2012.
Anyways, I was wondering if someone could help me with this "issue?" I'm having.
Note: I checked both my character's items and also checked the transfer window saying I have 0 heirloom points.
Thanks.

I think if you've ever retired you dont get the free stuff
-
The heirloom exchange was temporary iirc, ended months ago. Was a part of the major rebalancing the happened to allow people who had their build effected in a way they did not like they could exchange that item for an heirloom of their choosing.
As for the welcome back thing, I think that is the few free +3 items new players receive when they start.

So, I came back after the heirloom thing expired and that's why I don't have anything?
And I'm 100% sure I didn't get +3 items either.
So basically I got fucked? :(
Also Tristan, the friend I was talking to retired before coming back and got the equipment, so I'm guessing retiring doesn't really matter.

I was like gen 6 and got the free stuff
-
All I did was convert one skill point and go from 18/21 to 21/21 lol.

I don´t think it´s such a big deal. Just join a big clan and use their armoury.
-
I have my own clan with some friends so that wouldn't work, I also wouldn't do that.
But yeah, I don't know what to do about this (who to contact, because there's nothing else I can do)
-
^ and that is exactly wrong.
It's called welcome back rewards for a reason. People who already had an account, but didn't log in for a certain time got that rewards/loomed items. Accounts created after the patch don't get anything, just as people who did log in just one time/occasionally although they didn't play. I don't know what Gen was the limit to get anything tho.
All active people got the heirloom exchange items, which had an expiration date. Thats another thing ofc.
-
If you already have looms it might have just not given you something, i know myself and other players didnt get stuff cos it's really targeted at people who are creating new accounts *after* that patch, just as a random factor some other less active or not loomed players got something too but i dont think that was the intention.
Not loomed players did not get anything. If they did I was left out :D

Brand new accounts dont get it? That feels like a lie
At least thats what I remember. You definitely had to not log in for a certain time to get the rewards if you already had an account. If you logged in like 1 time in the last 2 months before the patch, you didn't get anything. It was a broken system for sure.

the new accounts get the free stuff, my friend just bought the game and made one ;)
-
I think it was pretty random who got it, my friend who was gen 20 got the welcome back shit and I didn't
-
Welp, I guess there's nothing to complain about then (or there is but it happened to a lot of people so...)

Best starting Pokemon gen 2.
Your opinion is wrong, cyndaquil is the best.
