Title: banned for defending myself!

so i was on na1 and im just playing the game toppin bords n shiet, when suddenly a big black male rides up on me with his horse. the presence of a black in spanishid in medieval times immediately put me on edge and i clutched my xbow closer to my chest, seeing this he snarled at me. as i was heading through the doors into the mega church this basketball american approached me and seeing the look in his eyes i drew my weapon. i told him to stop or i would shoot and he still advanced. now the crazy part of this story is this darkie took a round in the chest and kept going! so i pulled out my trusty S&W tactical tomahawk and ended his nba career. to my surprise seconds later in the same round he was back with murder in his eyes. i repeated the actions and was promptly and unjustly banned! i would like the admin in question to seriously consider their actions and send me a formal apology, or i will be taking this higher up the chain, to the top even. u have been warned

I'm pretty sure that the supreme court ruled in brown v board that you can't kill innocent black people... or was that the Dread Scott decision?

Upgraded to an essay ban because of ban history and the vivid prose sample in the OP.

Here's the information you'll need to complete your unban:

1.  Read Martin Luther King Jr's Letter from a Birmingham Jail (http://www.uscrossier.org/pullias/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/king.pdf).
2.  You will write a personal response to MLK's letter from your own perspective after you have read the letter and studied the history behind it.  I expect you to give your opinion on the many subjects and issues that are discussed in the assigned reading (e.g. civil rights, nonviolence, social equality, racism).  You need to engage the text and anything less than that is inadmissible.
3.  I expect 750 words with 3-5 citations.  The format should resemble a letter except with the use of citations.  No plagiarism.
4.  Submit your essay to the unban essay subforum (http://forum.melee.org/unban-essays/) with a poll so players can vote on the quality of your submission.
5.  If you cannot make a legitimate and authentic effort in completing the essay then your ban will become permanent.

Anyone else have a problem with comparing a trollish ban to the civil rights work of MLK?  Work that began the road for a former slave class in this country to becoming finally free and equal.  Work that was probably the most important defining factors in terms of shaping the american landscape for the future of America and making it a truely free and fair country.  A man who was assassinated for doing so.

The reason I chose this subject has very little to do w/ breaking the rules in a video game.  I chose it specifically for skooks.

After reviewing the logs and Skooks' ban history, I've decided to let the essay ban stick.  Simply put, Skooks did a lot of teamkilling on several different characters and double spawned several times.  Most of his teamkills were between him and ABubberTubberRubberDuckyChub, who has also been banned for 2 days.

Skooks has a very extensive ban record, and given his behavior yesterday, I'd say that this is fair.
