Literally forcing me to explain why I think a specific game is bad in a totally unrelated thread and then severing it into a separate thread.

No, actually I don't. Diablo 3 isn't stupid, it isn't lousy, and it isn't an MMO, not even in the slightest. So I have absolutely no idea what you were refering to. It was hip to hate on Diablo 3 when it was released, not now, just FYI.

Why so rude tho, if you really cant argue for why diablo 3 is mmo-like, or bad, then you really did just take part of the "hip" hate train. Throwing insults shows it even more.

I got D3 at the day of its release and I played it with the fix patches and expansion later aswell. It was always okayish imo. It was a bit of a forgetful experience, but there wasnt anything to major. And this coming from a person who freaking adored D2. Going full hate about D3 is a little much. I think people are just sad that it wasnt as revolutionary as D2 was back in its day. None the less the 3rd installment was quite solid in the end. Personally I think PoE kicks more ass.

Despite playing Diablo 1 a lot when I was a kid, and some Diablo 2, I don't really play these types of games and as such won't be a fair judge, but I like the visual design of Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 a lot more. Diablo 3 looks more cartoony and has too many shiny effects (and damage feedback all over the screen) marring the otherwise sleek graphics, similar to what happened to comic books and D&D illustrations from the 2nd to the 3rd edition, around 2000. And games, especially after World of Warcraft.

Diablo 3 was a massive disappointment for me, it didn't seem to take many of Diablo 2's qualities and it certainly just doesn't feel as good to play, I still play Diablo 2 from time to time and have done for years and years, Diablo 3 however I played through the game once and pretty much never touched it again barring 20 minutes on a couple of occasions. It was a fail when you view it as a sequel, it is however not a horrible game, it's a fairly solid game in fact, but for me there was not much longevity there and not enough of Diablo 1 + 2's spirit in there.

Diablo 3 might be a bad Diablo game compared to 2 but it sure is not a bad game by its own right.

Smooth, nice looking action rpg. I like it.

D3 doesn't exists , it's a Blizzard joke but don't touch the rest pls.
oh and Baldurs , i'm not into classic rpg too much but i know someone that could eat your balls in a salad if he looks at this thread.
