Watch closely, it's probably the only Wii U game I'll ever post about.

Not bad. Actually most Nintendo titles are not as bad as to deserve all the hate. If only they stopped trying to squeeze out more from franchises which are already overused down to the core.

The question is: Do you own or plan to get a Wii U though?

Ah yeh, Splatoon. People seem to really love it.

The internet is currently, like, bursting because of the crazy amount of uploaded fanart atm

Honestly I don't understand the hate for long franchises. Mario Galaxy was extremely good despite being the 84641621968th game named "Mario".

I don't have enough time for that, I'm afraid.

Me neither. And Mario Galaxy was/is way too fun to be classified as an iterative piece of garbage. I enjoyed the hell out of 1 and 2 (praise Dolphin emulator and RIP Rachel Bryk). Particularly when it comes to Mario and Zelda games, I wouldn't have a single complaint ever. Still, it is true that they are overdoing the "sticking to the already successful franchises" business. They could always take just a tiny bit of risk and try to introduce new lines by maintaining their conventional core elements.

Me wants, we need innovative arena-ish shooters. But who owns a wii U, really. The day nintendo starts releasing on pc is a year of *insert exaggurated joy*.

Tribes was abandoned unfortunately, but was great while it lasted. MNC was a game i really enjoyed, not necessarily innovative, but extremely fun, and now dead. TF2 i just cant get into.. And now blizzard is makign one but i dont have high hopes for them.

I liked Yahtzee comment that Nintendo is really the only console, Xbox and PS are basically PC-s in disguise that are holding games in hostage(exclusives).
