Title: Connection lost after about a minute

My problem is pretty simple. I just started with this mod by the way. When I join a server, I cannot stay online more than a few minutes. Have no idea why. I feel very frustrated. Can you help me?

yes.

This sounds like a key problem.   You pirated the game right?

1 min is more or less a game tick = which checks your MnB Warband serial key.


edit: even though it is only a mod, its still connected to the original TaleWorlds Server.

If you CAN play vanilla warband multiplayer without any problem and without beeing kicked, then...uh, come back and tell us :x

Bad guess. I have the steam version. I got it very recently though. My friends convinced me so I didn't mock with vanila at all. I am still quite confused.

No worries man, everytime warband is on steamsales, you will experience some strange stuff (bad serial number,  constant dc`s, etc etc).

Give it a couple of days and it will go away by itself.

Try launching the original Warband on Steam and when you're in the main menu, quit. Then try cRPG. I don't know if it will help, but it fixed a problem I had when I reinstalled Windows and cRPG asked for my serial key.

sometimes it gives me some kind of script error when I connect. says invalid player ID

It does that for everybody though.

So you just connect, wait a minute and then you automatically disconnect without any kind of message?

Hm :( Have you tried reinstalling?

basically yes. i should add though that it got a little better recently and sometimes it lets me online for quite a long time, sometimes it disconnects me almost immediately. also it should not be caoused by ping for i checked and my ping was fine both before and after i got kicked. also i tried to install non steam version (i found guide somewhere here) and things didn't seem to improve.

CRPG does this for me too, although rarely.

Sometimes I get kicked from a server, and when I refresh the servers page, it just stops on "891 servers to filter..." and I have to totally restart everything to log into a server again.

This happened like 4 times on strategus last night, by the time I actually got in we had lost 50 or so troops.
