Can anyone tell me exactly how the archer armor weight nerf works? I believe some items are multiplied against you, but i don't know by how much.
-
2x for glove weight, 3x for helmet weight and straight 1x for body armor and greave weight. Once you get over roughly 7 lbs (using the multiplied weight) it starts taking away from wpf.

thanks kesh

don't remember where I got this, but does it still apply?
(3*Head+2*Hand+Body+Leg)-7.5=MW
MW= Modified Weight
WPF(1-(MW x .008))=WPFe
WPFe= Effective WPF

That 2nd equasion does not make much sense to me as I keep getting weird numbers :cry:

I tried it. It works.
Just take your WPF and multiply it by .008. Then, subtract that number from 1. Then multiply that number with your WPF.
Here's one of my chars for an example.
MW = 15.4
WPF = 146
15.4 X .008 = .1232
1 - .1232 = .8768
146 X .8768 = 128
Sounds about right.

I nerded out and made a spreadsheet when trying to figure it out. I'll try to upload it to google docs or something if anyone is interested. (engineer in me...)

I noticed that with light armor/peasant gear. Like I said, don't know if the formula is still relevant or not after the last patch or two. Hopefully it is.
