I just found this topic on some unrelated search about banner templates for gimp/any other program besides Cs5 (which I'm still looking for), and it looked very viable..

Is this viable?

Devs already know how to change background colors and they are ab00zing it for their own sake

In other words, they can't be arsed to manual change the bg colors to fit whichever clan asks for it

Isnt it just possible to make the backcolor for the heraldic armors to be the same as the edge on the banner? like this: Heraldic_BackColor = player.banner.getHexValuesInCoords(0,0); (where (0,0) is the top left corner of the banner) This would require changing the script that defines how the heraldic mail looks, dunno if this is possible though. Perhaps its possible to get this from an other mod that already have this.

If it's something in scripts.txt then it could be possible to just include this in the banner pack. Don't know if editing the file would get you kicked from the servers though, I'm not sure how that works. My clanmates always complain about the weird yellow back on our heraldic armors, yet none of us use heraldic armor anyways =p

Didnt the former banner pack adminetrator say that he could do it if people asked for it? I dont think its too hard, there just hasnt been anyone who wanted to do it.
