5 - People who like siege don't necessarily like Battle and vice versa. Alternating between battle and siege on one server will just mean people quit when the map type they don't like comes on, rather than stay for a few maps

7 - Take measures to encourages people to retire and get into the grind again - this is something that keeps people on the servers. In particular reduce STF level and possibly add more rewards for retiring (cosmetic maybe, like unique weapon unlocks when you hit retire milestones)

Yes! This was actually implemented because of that douchebag Hate_More and similar players. Because it is easier to code restrictive game mechanics such as flags than banning few douchebags.

At this point it could work but I fear that it could also backfire. What if, after a month or two, we came to a point where combined EU1/EU2 pop during primetime is 30 players?

This is the only reason why I don't play anymore. I still love this game, and every fucking day I join EU servers, hoping to play some c-rpg, but all I get is the weird delay lag with the people teleporting through each other and swings coming out of nowhere :(

Right now there's almost always more ranged than infantry, seriously? I don't think it's necessarily the class being OP (although everyone playing it has OP build) but the MASS of ranged. It's making crpg a pain for everyone not playing ranged. Please don't everyone go ranged, or the only way possible to fix it is nerf.

Grumbs just nailed it. "Imbalance" and whining aren't the reason people have quit playing, they've quit playing because after a few matches on a STF you already have your fill.
I like the increased level balance overall, but there's almost no reason to ever grind a character from ground up now.

Well the downsides to taking a ranged weapon are pretty small. Melee isn't a very clearly defined class

Been working fine recently for me.

Wont happen. Rolling strength build to not be bothered with rain, RQ each time it rains and im playing AGI.

Love em, changed gameplay up for more fast paced fighting and decreases individual corner camping untill minute 1. Also stops archer chases, cav cowards and agiwhores for delaying.
4. Fix the class balance
Not sure what needs fixing except 2h buff (revert thrust change). Maybe some individual weapons that are junktier (like long awlpike, sucks compared to ranseur/spetum/coreqsue because of its weight). Average gravy post, surprise. Need more detail on what needs fixing so i can spend more time elaborating why it doesnt.

Yus please, playing through one map of a certain gamemode wont make people RQ, especially if theres way more players on.

I thought this was already a thing, but the server is getting toasted anyways and eu1 is like china1, please fix.

and fucking night!!!(or give me console command to remove night effect for 4 looms, pvt msg if someone can do it)

How about remove fun from cRPG? Because this's what you ask.
Anyway most people playing DTV would never go back to Battle, this is my case. And when Eu7 is full I don't play at all even if this lasts the whole day.
Because DTV is fun. (mostly)

DTV should definitely not be removed, but should be nerfed so that the hardcore grinders would be herded into battle/siege instead.

I agree with some Panos points, like merge and shit, would be nice.
Also like Franke said, the money is sold out.
I feel like Elio. DTV is the only funny mode for years now to come back to.. Some nice slaughter with a couple of guys who never change (or at least it feels like this).. Some sparing with bots, some chatting, a good time at all.. Just fun, not this "rage-fun".. I can't stand this :mad:
So yeah decrease rewards or start filling hre_dtv again :lol:

Auto balance is broken, i have experienced it now. During low population its most notable, when a team is 5 players less. I for one love when im stacking with a couple of clannies, and we get to be on the lower end (guise we are 6 less, lets fucking DO THIS), but when balance decides to put us on the side with more players and its a roflstomp i feel disgusted and am kind of forced to change to a native banner. If something could be changed so that stacks would always be put on the team with less players, while single banners will get put on a larger team..

No EU2 anymore and EU1 is full of ganking and ranged. I can only play it for 15 mins before getting bored. Plus about 20% of the players now just want to piss around and not try at all which makes it pretty unbalanced. Think my time in this mod is ending.

And if you dont want to get 'ganked' you should either learn to play with your team or go to eu3

Only way to rely on teammates is if they are clanmates on a ts with you. Otherwise you run into 5 v 5s and its you versus 5. And if you rely on Krems when you are on their side you are insane.
I've played with and without people on TS etc and its a completely different game. However on siege you can solo it since people have more common goals and work together more.

Truth. Its something i will never learn, i always expect people do the basic strategies on maps, walk as a group on the most common path to instant fighting. It barely ever happens these days, and i find myself alone with some few people and then get steamrolled by the other side.
Also you dont rely on Krems, you rely on the rest of the team to make up for the krems players on your team. Ive seen krems play well when they want to, but then the majority of the time when i get balanced on krems team it feels like its lost before it has even begun. Unless you got a really strong lineup, you wont be able to make up for the krems sitting in spawn behind a siege shield trying to make conversations with the Q menu.

If you want to know who is good player and who is only getting lucky most of the time, just team up with said player. Good players never fuck up 2vs1 situations, because they are smart enough to swing at different directions at the same time. Two good players are capable to create havoc and kill ten or more bad enemy players.
TS surely helps but teamplay works without it, if you have genuinely good cRPG player by your side.

Fix autobalance by adding class balance, make banners go on the second plan. I'd give so much to not get into that defeat-win-defeat cycle everytime I play. Also, half of the time, 10 players are missing, you're fucked in a mandatory way unless the whole team is good at teamplaying and at defending a good position (never happens, lol).
On another hand, the servers need to be fixed, they were fine yesterday, but people today had ping, lags, and the feeling that these problems won't go, ever.

You want to become a real cynic, play a full rotation with 0 athletics and no TS. If the teammates around you decide to S-key or run into cover you are screwed and everyone knows it!
That being said i enjoyed 0 athletics, it gave a more exaggerated picture of footwork and teamplay in terms of how mobs of players move. Some 'good' players are very experienced and solid teammates even without TS though, even if they won't save you they'll use your death to get some sweet kills, whilst others may waste the opportunity when seeking backstabs elsewhere.
Oh i know the feel, personally i couldnt handle it for long, wouldnt go below 5 athl anymore. Best choice ive found is to wait untill the fightings really gotten started, then join in. Optimally you would want to take the very front as a tank but team is just never reliable unless you have a stack of some sorts.

Chase and Teeth best ganker mates. And they also joined the big fights, not just hiding on the outskirts looking for duels, amazing right? Everyone plays eu1 like a solo game these days, god it pisses me off.
