What a shame members can't sensibly reply to an honest simple question. It's the likes of you that he's getting this game a bad name and falling membership. Thanks for nothing!

Heskeytime, thanks. You came dangerously close to 1) answering my question and 2) reaping the reward for the least helpful but most patronising answer. Well done! lol

Now, if you've taken your (overdue) oestrogen supplement, can you expand upon "Using a broken weapon mechanic such as left-swing on a scimitar that allows you to connect instantly and using this attack endlessly without blocking, opponent does not have time to counter after they have blocked and are 'spammed' by hits."
What do you mean by "broken weapon mechanic". Remember when (hopefully) answering me, 1) dont immediately assume that everybody lives on this forum/game 24/7 and 2) try to be polite without resorting to second rate sarcasm.

PS: The reason for my question, I use a masterwork miaodo and, whilst battling someone in heavy armour armed to the teeth, they complained (sarcastically you'll be pleased to note!) that I was 'spamming' him. I didn't know what that meant.

Spamming generally is swinging more than once without blocking. The normal flow of combat in warband is one person attacks, then the other one attacks and the first one blocks and so on. when you ignore this rythm and attack many times in succession, it is called spam.
The bit that heskey mentioned with broken weapon mechanic is that the 1h left to right swing is very very quick and can be used especially with fast and curved weapons (their hitbox does not match the visual) to spam leaving the opponent very little time to react if they can react at all.
It is a valid tactic, and can get you free hits in certain situations, but it tends to generate rage and frustration

Moncho THANK YOU! Finally, someone with intelligence AND manners. Now I understand it. I have to say though, as both a user and victim of 'spamming', complaining about a legitimate, non-cheat way of combat seems rather silly to me. But at least now I know I'm not being accused of anything untoward. Thanks once again.

Heskeytime, Thanks. I will indeed be more specific in future. I now realise that not everyone is smart or quick witted enough to pick up on a person's intended point. Thanks once again to Moncho though. who was :-)

I believe that one pertinent definition of chamber within the context of CRPG would be to 'knock away' or block an attacking swing using a similar attacking movement in the appropriate direction. A chamber block will negate any stun you would get from blocking a heavy blow.

I hope that this reply has been of some use to you.

Oh dear me, repeating my own words back to me? Seems the age of original thought truly did pass you by. Never mind, you can always lord it over those other pesky newbies huh? Lol

Truly yours?

Also, a smart fellow like you might have noticed the "modify" button over your own posts. You may make use of it.

Lol the personal insults begin. I was starting to harbour a fleeting respect for you until you resorted to moronic, puerile expletives. I thought you might be better than that, sadly, you're not. Ho hum. Heskeytime, all you had to do initially was to use good manners rather than be churlish and downright silly. You have serious anger management problems clearly? You also appear to be one of those brave keyboard warriors who throw every kind of insult without knowing who they are actually insulting. This can sometimes be surprisingly costly. Ps: I'm not sure what 'log' you were referring to. Could you have meant 'long'?

You amuse me. In a very negative way, but still you amuse me. Oh, by the way, it's 'churlish' not 'churlist' lol

Dunno who complained, but I don't think you spam. You are a bit slow for that. Kanmir spams, Porthos spams, Praetor spams but not you.
