Title: Looking for a good one handed mace to +3
Post by: Tristan_of_Erzoth on March 18, 2015, 07:33:58 am: Been noticing I've been glancing a lot/not having good damage output vs high armor targets. Looking to fix this with a mace.

Thinking about one handed bar mace of spath. Any other suggestions?

If you like metal sticks, you go for Flanged Mace or Spathovaklion.
If you like novelty dildos, I recommend Spiked Mace and Iberian Mace.
If you are into onions, take the Iron Mace (also Shrek).
If you are Hetman, use Winged Mace.
If you like to take it slow, go for Military Hammer, Warhammer or One Handed Bar Mace.
If budget matters, go for Club (it is really quite strong, same stats as unloomed Winged Mace).

All one handed maces are strong. The differences aren't tremendous and it comes down to taste in the end.

Being the heaviest onehander it is a lot less likely to suffer from blockstun or crushthrough compared to wimpier ones like the spathovaklion. And its heavier weight also allows for a higher chance of knockdown, if you want that.

Post by: Falka on March 21, 2015, 10:42:25 pm: One handed battle axe. Yes, I know, it's not a mace, but deals so much dmg that you don't have to worry about glances, while against light/medium armored opponents it's much better option. Not to mention it's longer than any mace except mil hammer.

BUT THEY'RE STILL BOTH ZERO SLOT OMG WHEN DID THIS ALL HAPPEN??

(Last time I knew it was only knobbed mace was 0 slot)
