Title: last night we had some burglars at work (and i had to test my new camera)

looks like some small-time criminals in search of some easy cash.
anyway, they have put "high" effort to get into some parts of the building.

the ground floor was easy, there they only needed to pry open a window but they could not use the hallways or the stairs without to trigger the motion detector.
so they have broken loose some wooden beams (they are used as bumpers at the housewall), climbed on top of a lorry and smashed the beams through a window in the upper floor.

unfortunately for them, we rebuild the upper floor and the office was empty.
they have tried to get into other ones as well, but again motion detectors at the hallway.

in the end their only loot were some cigarette packs. this was a bit disappointing. the whole yard is filled with pallets of beverages and not a single crate was missing.

even the money of the vending machine was still there. well they have tried to open it, but they could not break the cash box.

at least they have spared coffee machine :D .

They must've been drunk or just plain stupid. First thing I would take would be those nice windows.   :D

Breaks into building, finds a vending machine with money in it, plenty of valuable beverages, and a coffee machine

Steals pack of cigarettes instead

in the last few years we had mostly some trouble with petrol thieves (and even them have stolen a few crates of beer). the last ones who got caught, was a gang from Lithuania who worked along the autobahn.
there is a safe in the middle of the building, quite huge and the real expensive drinks are behind a few security doors.
and thats the strange thing, they have avoided the areas with the cameras and the motion detectors but they had only some light tools to break things open.
