if u backwards towards shoter u get less dmg from ranged? Many times i turn around when someone shooting to me and even then I get one shoted in the head.
-
I think yes, you get less damage but the difference must be very low since arrow speed is incredible fast

As far as I am aware having a shield on your back gives bonus protection against ranged attacks to the back but without it is still full damage.
And if you get headshot it will still do full damage, to avoid that though just keep your head down.
Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Get good and aim for the head

Or go 30/21 full PD WM ATHL, and destroy anyone crossing your fireline, allie or ennemy.

Speed bonus works as well with projectiles. If you are running towards an archer, you will receive more damage than if you are standing still or running away.

The speed bonus for arrows ( not sure if all projectiles ) got increased in one recent patch, which means, or should mean that moving into a projectile deals considerably more damge, while moving away from the projectile gives considerably less.
Upon damage testing on EU3 after the patch however ( when the "B" show damage was still there ), it turned out that a shot with speed bonus was actually doing less damage than a stationary hit. Couldnt contact San about this yet.

Ranged damage is a myth in general. There is no such thing.
