Forget Frells type of bounty system.

How about a REAL bounty system.
Where PLAYERS can go and post a reward for killing specific People they want to die on the battle servers.
So lets say PlayerX posts 10k for killing Gooretooth.  Now, for every Gooretooth kill, 100g gets deposited in to the killers accounts until the 10k runs out.

sexy.

And if multiple people post a bounty for the same person, the bounties stack
so if PlayerY also posts 5-10k at the same time, the bounty is 100g from each poster

While not a bad idea in itself I can't agree with it on battle servers. I think word would spread out in chat to fast about players with high bounties and then we would start seeing people more focused on getting a killing blow on the high value targets then cooperating with their team on winning the round.

I think killing blows already is too much of a focus on battle compared to actual teamwork.

While I understand that, and yes, I think it would work incredibly well for what you want. I still don't agree with it, keep battle as battle, not some weird "The Ship" game-mode type thingy.

Originally I was thinking it'd be cool to get a certain gold value per kill. Higher gold amount for higher levels.

Like in battle when warriors were paid extra for every head.

Was reading and saw that there was already a "gold-per-kill" system on the old version and it didn't work out too well...
