Title: Thin Ice v2 (or v999)
Post by: Leshma on March 05, 2015, 09:01:24 pm
It was a shit map, so I've decided to have some fun while waiting to spawn (30 fps means I'm dead most of the time). Had to give up x5 multi, but who cares. This story is split into 6 pictures and lasts for 5 minutes. Enjoy!

1. Leshma
2. Fuma_Kotaro_the_Duck
3. 20:40 GMT+1
4. This is a stop motion movie about pacifist Duck, who means no harm to anyone. Yet the rules are haunting the pacifist Duck. People say Duck is leeching. Is there a proof? Let's see.
5. He likes to take long walks to countryside and hug people. Best duck ever. But as all great comedians, he's depressed and very sad. That is why I want to help him.

7. Fuma_Kotaro_the_Duck certainly witnessed this. Leshma as well.

Whatever happens I'll be the one laughing, at admins or at Fuma. This is my last attempt tho, will leave this looney house to its inhouse rules if it proves to be a thing supported by admins. If you want to be "special" lot, who am I to go against it?

Inb4: Yes I'm a kid, I'm a tard, I'm sad little person who doesn't know what fun is. I suck at life and everything. To save some time to those who want to express themselves in this very topic.

Yeah, I'm that dumb to post a thread in wrong section. This is obviously discussion about maps.

So, you people are going to turn a blind eye? This is the usual sight of this stupid duck whenever you see him ingame. When he is online and in my team, I immediately think to myself: "Oh, nice. Now we are one less than the enemy." And being one less is the best probability. Most of the time, he will manage to distract 3-5 more teammates into fooling around with him in a corner. And bam! There you go, 5 less. If he is on the other team, then I think to myself: "Poor fuckers. They don't even realize they are at a huge disadvantage."

Note: Please stop playing dumb. Do something or just admit that you are playing favorites. This is getting stupid.

So, Lesh, you're writing that you had to give up your precious x5, which means that you didn't even tried to win, and then trying to ban Fuma for doing basically the same thing? I remember that round and that map - it was undefendable with that particular balance (all tryhards in one team) and moreover that map just basically sucks overall with such extra largened timer. We have captured the flags with the timer giving us another 30 minutes to spare. And even if the Duck would play at his best, he would not have made any difference. All we need is balanced maps and active admins on server to solve the problems right in game. Sorry, but I can't consider that the thing that is showed on your screens is sufficient violation to ban Fuma permamently (the thing you want to achieve I suppose ).

I had to give x5 because I left the server after taking last screenshot. Couldn't be arsed to play with Fuma and his bros on a map where I have 25 fps on average. Had 3/7 score or something like that when I left. Fuma had his usual negative score (-1/10+, negative points).

Also, no one asked for your opinion. Better worry what will happen to you when you again decide to bother someone like you did to me and Emanuel.

Even if the map was bugged and he was taking screens to report that, which I doubt, Fuma is muted and he can't either post them or defend himself. However, his ban history is devastating for him. I'll give him a day or two to post through some friend in his defence, but he'll have to expect a very heavy punishment anyway.

And before you call anyone a protective shill, please consider that a permament ban is something even Fuma should be able to defend himself from, or at least post his explaination.

???
Explain please, or better post a ban request if you in fact have anything against me, there's no need for idle threats

This will probably earn me a infraction, but I'll answer you and prolong the offtopic for awhile. You know very well what I'm talking about. You did to Emanual same what you did to me, while I was playing under unknown in game name which you figured out. Constantly hunting me while you were an enemy, which is fine from rules point of view but a bit disturbing (and you did that just because I was low level at that time, unable to succesfully defend myself). But what was even more disturbing was that you followed me everywhere when you were my teammate, constantly nudging me and not allowing me to play the game. That kind of behavior in real life can get you restraining order (in civilized countries at least, dunno how it is in Mother Russia). You're still doing that but I've learned to ignore it, and have enough skill and decent gear to repel you pathetic attempts to kill me.

The likes of you and this Fuma make Panos look like a saint. I've played this game with far better people, both skill wise and human quality wise. Will not miss any of you in any way and certainly will not interact you in any way that goes above what is meant by gameplay. Find yourself someone else to bother, I am not amused.

You are right, Heskey. But this isn't generic case of generic player. This is about Fuma and pretty much everybody who play this game knows what Fuma does when he is on server. I personally don't like that and I'm not alone. This thread started as continuation of what Elmuri said in Krex thread. Also trying to see do rules still literally apply or are there special cases (which I know there are, certain high level admin/developer breaks them every time because he is wasted every time when playing cRPG). Last time when rules still were pretty strict was when cmp used to care about cRPG. But those times are long gone.

What i don't want is to put pressure on some admins because this seem very delicate topic and requires to be handled with care. If it is possible and if he doesn't mind, I would like to see Master Admin Fin close this thread and give his final say about this.

We are all bored Heskey. Bored of this, bored of that. All of us have pretty much grown too tired of specific stuff in the mod. But we all know that there is no better option and keep coming back.

Fuma, on the other hand, seems to be insanely bored of the game. He is so bored that actually "playing" doesn't mean a thing to him anymore. Screwing around and playing hide and seek with people seems to be more interesting for him than anything else. People seem to not care. But some people like me hate it due to what I wrote before. Having Fuma in your team means you are practically at a disadvantage. You don't have to be a tryhard for this to bother you. People are being punished for leeching and putting their team in a disadvantageous situation through various means. Why does he have to be exempt from all of it? You all know about his actions. The most recent one I can remember is fighting a group of like 5 attackers at the backdoor, finishing 4 of them, dying and then watching the only fellow defender (guess who that mysterious guy is) escorting the last surviving attacker to the flag. Needless to say the round was lost.

As I said, he seems to be extremely bored and can't have any fun without spreading the boredom. Yeah, as usual some of my fellow Krems players will think that it is a general Kremsie hate thing. But if you guys can be at least a little honest, you will all realize that he is the only one among you who does everything but "play".

Hate me all for badmouthing your favorite cprg jester, but I am sick and tired of his shit.

Heskey is right tho. Those pics proof nothing really. And history shouldn't matter, especially not when there is no proof.
A ban would be a bad excuse for getting rid of someone for other matters than the proof provided.

Never really got on with him personally, but i can understand the desire to try and make the game interesting for yourself if the gameplay itself no longer does. Everyone bro-codes to some extent anyway.

The main thing i wanted to know is regardless of history, for a ban thread to be successful surely it has to depict something ban-worthy
Wandering the map without engaging in any fighting is leeching and therefore banworthy.
How do you want to depict it other than posting pictures of the character wandering parts of the map where never any enemy is seen?

I talked to Fuma on steam and consulted with other admins. He accepts his fate and others agree that his behaviour almost never changes, so action must be taken.

Just let me remind you,
Quote from: http://forum.melee.org/announcements/official-server-rules/
Not contributing is leeching
Also, bro-coding, also, his ban history does speaks for itself:

Next time for both of them, it will be an essay ban.

Banned for 1 month, after that passes he can write an essay, minimum 500 words on "Why should I contribute?"
